baptismal interviews an amazing experience

As for my week it was a very rewarding week. I was able to interview two people for baptism and confirmation and both of those went through. It was so amazing to hear them testify of the truths that they had recently been taught. It was an amazing experience. I hope there are more to come. The baptisms on Saturday went very well. We had 7 non-members there which was awesome. All of them then stayed for the Firside by President Klebingat. It was seruiously the most amazing thing I have ever heard. He did it about his life and the tender mercies of the Lord. It really was amazing.

Right before the baptism we had an investigator show up early so we sat down with him to teach him. At the end of the lesson we comitted him to be baptized on the 17th of November. And he agreed. His name is I..... He is a really nice older man. He didn't come to church yesterday unfortunately but hopefully we will be able to meet with him this week a couple of times. As for our other investigators we are looking to give A....  a baptismal date this week as well. He came on Saturday and talked with President Klebingat one on one for a long time aftewards. It was so cool to see. He is really nice and is a little older as well. We will see how it goes. We ran into him that night on the street and talked to him again and he mentioned that all he wants to do is go somewhere quiet and pray about the Book of Mormon. I was more than happy to hear that. That's about it for us but the district is doing well and we have 5 standing dates in our district right now.

This week we did a really fun thing with a member from our church. She is older and is a part member family so we invited her to a tea night at the branch building where we got to know her a little better and showed her our pictures. She was so excited. It was really fun to talk with her and to meet new people. We are hoping to do this with some of the other women in our branch so we can get to know them better.

Well that is about it for my week. Thanks again for everything! I love you all so much!

Love Elder Quinn
