Come unto Christ - He lives! (last letter home)

Well thank you all for your awesome letters. There was amazing advice in all of them. Thank you all.

This past week was awesome as Sergei was baptized and confirmed. I had the privilage to give him the Gift of the Holy Ghost. He was then ordained a priest and given the Aaronic Priesthood. This branch is really good about taking care of their recent converts. It was really cool as 2 little boys were also baptized by their fathers as their mothers looked on (and cried). It was an awesome experience.

Well this will be the last letters I write. I just want to say thank you all for the amazing letters. They helped my a lot. I want to thank you all for the prayers on my behalf. I have felt the strength from the Lord. I have often felt that it was your prayers that have given me so many blessings since being on my mission.

These past two years cannot be summed up in a simple letter home but I will try. I am so greateful for this opportunity that I had to serve here and to help others to come unto Christ. I know that these past two years were exactly where the Lord wanted me and what he wanted me to be doing. My testimony has grown in amazing ways expecially in the knowledge and truth of the Plan of Salvation. This testimony has got me through a lot of challenging times.

I know that Jesus Christ lives. I know he came to earth to save us and to make it possible for us to return to our Heavenly Father. One thing I would always stress while teaching the Plan of Salvation to people. Is that it is a Plan of Love. Every step in it is all because God loves us. I know that this church is the true church of Jesus Christ. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God and helps us to navigate through this troubled time. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I love that book for the lessons it has taught me. I know that after this life we will all live together as a family and that gives me so much comfort.

Thanks again for everything. I look foreward to seeing you all soon. But I still have one more week left and I have to leave the area better than when I found it.
